The role we are offering

As part of our collaboration with Equans , we are recruiting for a major international industrial project: the supply of Emergency Diesel Generators (EDGs) for a major new nuclear programme currently under construction in the UK . This is a 10-year programme representing several hundred million euros in revenue.

On this project, Equans manages project risks through a proprietary methodology developed internally over the past 15 years: DATABIND® . Every project event, whether technical, contractual or supplier-related, is recorded, categorised and linked to the risks it impacts within a data lake that already contains more than 250,000 events from previous projects.

Reporting operationally and directly to the Project Director responsible for the EDG programme at Equans, you will join the team to take ownership of the run phase of this environment:

• Liaise with client and business stakeholders across Engineering, Procurement / Supply, PMO and Project Management to identify, clarify and elevate project Risks.
• Capture, categorise and qualify incoming Events in DATABIND®, linking them to the right business context and relevant project topics.
• Structure and maintain the Risk, Action, Open Issues, Early Warning (EW) and Variation (VAR) Registers .
• Ensure each Action has a clearly identified owner and due date, and track it through to closure.
• Proactively follow up with Package Leads, Engineering Leads, Qualification Leads and other project stakeholders when information or actions are outstanding.
• Maintain the links between Events, Threads and Risks to ensure full traceability and support Root Cause Analysis.
• Monitor the evolution of project Risks and identify recurring issues, emerging trends and potential threats.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of the DATALAKE by identifying missing, duplicate, inconsistent or conflicting information.
• Feed the project's Event, Action and Risk dashboards with reliable and well-structured data.
• Contribute to periodic DATABIND® performance reports, project reviews and management summaries shared with the Project Director and Project Management Team.
• Support project teams in the day-to-day use of DATABIND® and help drive adoption of the methodology.
• Take part in Event review meetings and Risk review workshops with the project's various stakeholders.

This is primarily a project risk management and project coordination role , with a strong focus on stakeholder interaction, data quality, traceability and operational follow-up.

This is neither a developer role nor a Data Scientist position. You will not be expected to build the platform technically, but rather to make it work effectively on a day-to-day basis, ensure the reliability of the data it contains, and support the management of the associated Risks and Actions.

You will work with stakeholders in both France and the UK, with part of the project team based in the UK, so English will be used on a daily basis.

Profile we are looking for

• Master's degree / Bac+5, preferably from a general or industrial engineering school, or a computer science school.
• A first experience, such as a long internship or apprenticeship, in project management, data or an industrial environment would be an advantage.
• Fluent English is essential due to regular interaction with the UK-based team.
• Strong written communication skills: you will need to clearly formalise risks and complex situations in writing.
• Strong interest in digital tools and data, with a willingness to develop your expertise within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to proactively seek information from a wide range of stakeholders, including experienced professionals.
• Tenacity and drive: we are looking for someone who does not just listen, but who actively follows up, challenges and gets the information needed to move the project forward.
• Energy, curiosity, rigour and a strong sense of accountability.
