Role Overview

Responsible for supporting the profitable and sustainable growth of Boston Scientific EMEA, through the management of key Greenhouse projects funded via global support aligned to the EMEA regional strategy. Specific responsibilities include operational implementation planning with the local project owners & governance and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans outlining scope, work activity definition, timelines, roles and resources.
  • Collaborate with and support the implementation team, including local country & functional representatives.
  • Ensure that all supporting infrastructure—including program guidelines, processes, training programs, organizational structure and new roles—are developed and communicated.
  • Provide updates to all key stakeholders, through frequent communications of findings at regular intervals via reports and meetings.
  • Develop implementation strategy and comprehensive measurement tools (KPIs) to gauge the effectiveness of the projects.
  • Deliver project recommendations to stakeholders related to profitability enhancement in close cooperation with finance.
  • Communicate regularly with appropriate stakeholders, elevate issues, clear barriers to team progress, and resolve conflicts quickly.
  • Manage multiple projects with sub‑workstreams across EMEA in parallel as necessary.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop future year Greenhouse planning, post‑implementation governance and assessment.
  • Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System, and the appropriate regulations for the area they support.
  • Ensure employees are trained to do their work and that their training is documented.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3-4 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Project management experience on implementation of projects and initiatives (e.g., Go to market, New market entry, Innovation project).
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required (up to 30%).
  • Must be eligible to work in Europe.
  • Strong understanding of change management practices with excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead others in project and program management arena.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with communication and influencing at the middle management level across a cross‑functional and global organization.
  • Experience in a commercial environment would be beneficial.
