Our client

Our client, a French space technology company specializing in space mobility solutions and a key player in the "New Space" sector, develops advanced electric propulsion systems, orbital transfer vehicles, and software tools to enhance the deployment and operation of small satellites.

Position

Technical Project Manager – Satellite Control Center Solutions for operations of the Spacevan fleet.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Spacecraft Control Center developments and continuous improvements under the Head of IOS Mission management.
• Animate programmatic and planning aspects of SCC solutions within the Satellite Operations Team, particularly with the SCC software architect (Tech lead).
• Lead major evolutions of the Satellite Control Center to support the evolution and growth of Spacevan Missions (LEO, GEO, RPO).
• Continuously improve the Satellite Control Center by incorporating lessons learned from current Spacevan Missions and optimizing Spacevan Operations.
• Work closely with the In Orbit Services engineering team, including system engineers, avionics engineers, and AIT engineers.
• Manage the position from offices in Toulouse or Massy.

Preferred Experience

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Satellite Operations.
• Demonstrated project management and people skills with ability to develop privileged relationships.
• Negotiating skills, aiming to reach mutually satisfactory solutions.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Autonomous, rigorous, and detail‑oriented.
• Fostering a team environment.
