For our Woippy site, where CLAAS balers are manufactured, we are currently looking for an Project Manager, reporting to the Senior Vice President Product Unit Baler.

Your role in our team:

• Define and launch the project: analyze the project idea, draft the project brief, define the project management scope (tailoring) and the approval process, then run the kick-off meeting.
• Build and lead the project team: appoint the sub-project managers in consultation with line managers, plan human and material resources, and lead team meetings.
• Plan and steer project progress: consolidate the project plan (including sub-projects and work packages), monitor timelines and content, and prepare milestone releases in compliance with deliverables.
• Manage change and risks: run target/actual comparisons, measure goal achievement, anticipate deviations, develop mitigation and alternative plans, and implement preventive and corrective measures.
• Ensure governance and communication: inform and coordinate regularly with the sponsor, manage escalations, make the necessary decisions, and involve experts from the CLAAS Group in coordination with the specialist departments.
• Ensure documentation and project closure: prepare regular status reports and the final project report, review and approve project documentation, demonstrate the achievement of project objectives (QCT), run a lessons-learned workshop, and hand over results and open points to follow-up projects or the line organization.

Your profile:

• Academic Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration.
• Beneficially minimum of 3 years working experience
• Experience in project management of cross functional teams.
• Hands on experience in MS Office and SAP.
• Good communication skills / open-minded personality interested in acting in multi-cultural environment..
• Experience in collaborating within matrix organisation under respect of functional guidance desirable.
• Fluent in English and French, German is a plus.
