Project Manager: Lunar Lander Test Bench (M/F)

Main Responsibilities / Tasks

Your responsibilities evolve as project progresses. Daily missions include:

• Test site development – Define and synthesize system requirements for isolated lunar lander test site, supporting fire tests and test flights; Lead design and implementation of entire facility, including ground infrastructures and utilities; Specify and implement propellant and pressurization systems, notably liquid oxygen, liquid methane, helium, and nitrogen; Design infrastructure for autonomous operation of isolated site (power, storage, logistics, safety systems)
• Fluidic and cryogenic systems engineering – Development of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P et ID) for propulsion test benches and associated ground equipment; Design, sizing, and selection of components for cryogenic and high-pressure fluidic systems; Guarantee safe handling, storage, and distribution of propellants and cryogenic pressurized fluids
• Coordination of infrastructures and civil engineering – Definition of site layout, foundations, structural interfaces, and infrastructure requirements; Coordination with civil engineering partners for implementation of test benches, safety perimeters, and support buildings
• Safety, automation, and operation – Definition and implementation of automation architectures for test operations and facility control, including secure connections with vehicle; Development and validation of safety-critical systems protecting personnel, hardware, and environment; Execution of hazard analyses (FMEA, HAZOP, risk assessments) and implementation of mitigation measures; Drafting test procedures, operational concepts, and commissioning plans
• Project management – Leading end-to-end development: design, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and operational readiness; Manage technical interfaces with internal teams, clients, and external suppliers; Perform trade-off analyses to optimize performance, safety, costs, and deadlines; Provide support to deployment, integration, and on-site testing campaigns in UAE

Qualifications

• Degree in aerospace, mechanical, energy systems engineering, or related field
• 5+ years experience in propulsion test facilities or live-fire test benches
• Solid expertise in fluidic systems engineering and cryogenic propellants
• Experience in design or operation of ground support equipment (GSE)
• Knowledge of automation and safety-critical control architectures
• Experience in infrastructure development in industrial or isolated environments
• Proven project management capacity for multidisciplinary activities
• Knowledge of Labview: measurement and control system
• Practical mind and strong problem-solving capacity
• Excellent communication and ability to work in international teams
• Availability for travel and occasional missions to UAE
