Project Manager – Design (Water & Sanitation Networks)

Responsibilities

• Undertake design management (maîtrise d'œuvre) for urban hydraulics projects.
• Lead projects for the construction and rehabilitation of networks and associated structures.
• Responsible for technical, contractual, and financial aspects.
• Project leadership and full management of design operations.
• Monitor schedules, costs and the quality of engineering studies.

Qualifications

• Degree in hydraulics, civil engineering, environmental engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of applicable standards and regulations.
• Proven skills in the design of hydraulic networks and structures.
• Familiarity with hydraulic modeling software and GIS tools.
• Proven experience in public-sector design/project management.
• Experience with rehabilitation works using pipe lining would be an asset.
• Natural leadership and coordination skills.
• Rigour, autonomy, and the ability to make decisions and arbitrate.
• Good interpersonal skills and a strong team orientation.
• Customer-service mindset and the ability to communicate technical topics to non-specialists.
