Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a Project Manager (Chef de Projet) to join a CDMO in France, to lead the coordination and delivery of pharmaceutical injectable projects, from technical transfer through to process validation. You will act as the key liaison between clients and internal departments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to specification, and in line with client-approved quotes.

Two positions are available:

  • One permanent, one fixed-term (minimum one year), covering a maternity leave.
  • Both offer the chance to work on high-stakes, technically complex projects within a specialised aseptic/sterile manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between the client and the site's various departments
  • Ensure client expectations are met at every stage of the project, in alignment with client-approved quotes
  • Develop the project schedule and ensure adherence to it
  • Lead implementation and coordinate internal and external actions
  • Participate in defining the manufacturing process and manage trial/technical batches prior to process validation
  • Communicate project progress and identified risks to relevant stakeholders
  • Participate in the technical assessment and costing of new projects arising from business development

Qualifications

  • Experience with pharmaceutical products and manufacturing processes, ideally within aseptic or sterile production environments
  • A minimum of 5 years' project management experience
  • Experience in cross-functional/matrixed team management
