€55,000 Base + Significant Overtime + End of Project Bonus

A leading ship repair organisation is seeking an experienced Ship Repair Manager / Chef de Projet to oversee the successful delivery of repair, refit and drydocking projects in Marseille.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong experience in ship repair and project management, looking to take ownership of complex vessel projects from arrival through to completion and redelivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage ship repair, refit and drydocking projects from contract award through to completion
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the repair period
• Coordinate production, engineering, procurement and subcontractor activities
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery
• Oversee multiple technical disciplines including steel, mechanical, piping and electrical works
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with quality, safety and class requirements
• Manage commercial aspects of projects, including variations, additional works and cost control
• Build strong client relationships while delivering projects safely, on time and within budget

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• 3+ years' experience within ship repair, drydock, shipbuilding or complex marine/offshore projects
• Strong project management experience within a technical or operational environment
• Good knowledge of shipyard operations and vessel repair methodologies
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors and subcontractors
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, costs and profitability
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
