Project Manager

The Interior Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of complex yacht interior refit and outfitting projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship and client satisfaction.

This role requires strong technical understanding of luxury yacht interiors, proven leadership experience, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams within a fast-paced refit environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple yacht interior refit projects from initial scope definition through completion and handover.
• Coordinate interior design, subcontractors, production teams, procurement, and client representatives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, cost tracking, and progress reporting specific to interior works.
• Act as the primary point of contact for owners, captains, and management companies regarding interior scope.
• Oversee interior dismantling, refurbishment, new installations, and finishing works.
• Manage subcontracted trades including joinery, soft furnishings, stone, upholstery, flooring, AV integration, and decorative finishes.
• Control variations, change orders, and scope adjustments while maintaining budget discipline.
• Ensure compliance with class, flag, safety, and shipyard standards related to interior modifications.
• Identify risks within tight refit timeframes and implement mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior project managers and interior coordinators.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Interior Architecture, Naval Architecture, or Project Management (PMP or equivalent certification advantageous).
• 3+ years’ experience in yacht refit, shipbuilding, or high-end interior construction.
• Strong background in luxury yacht interiors, joinery, bespoke outfitting, and finishing standards.
• Proven experience delivering time-sensitive refit projects within operational shipyard environments.
• Solid understanding of marine systems as they interface with interior modifications.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost-control experience.
• Proficiency in project management tools and ERP systems.
