ACTIVITIES

Reporting to the Test Suites Director. Integrated within the R&D hardware and embedded software team located at Fime Lille, your missions will focus on the following activities:

• Owns project leadership through complete product life cycle from architecture, design, test and validation, industrialization and lessons learned
• Lead cross-functional experts within a matrix environment, successfully driving delivery of projects for new products
• Define project scope and specifications (functional, technical, security) in cooperation with our customers
• Collaborate with the hardware and embedded software management team to implement, monitor and maintain project schedules and resources planning
• Coordinate and lead core team meetings, milestone reviews and project follow-up meetings with customers
• Monitor and control all project deliverables while continuing to identify and addressing project issues and risks
• Manage budget of the projects in cooperation with the Finance Control team
• Serve as primary point of communication between the Fime project team and customers
• Report project and delivery performance to executive stakeholders
• Participate actively in priority management reviews in cooperation with the product management and the Test Suites leadership team
• Actively listens, understands, and identifies needs to develop credibility, trust and commitment with our customers
• Schedule the manufacturing introduction of the new products in cooperation with the Operations team and qualified vendors
• Utilizes negotiation tactics to resolve conflicts to ensure success is achieved with minimal risk to project objectives.

JOB EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of proven experience in project management for complex software/hardware embedded products development and delivery
• Strong experience with scope and schedule management for technology projects
• Experience of the payment (NFC, contactless and contact smartcard) and digital security industry.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Educational Background: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a technical related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of product lifecycle and development
• Ability to handle project scope, budget, or team changes within a high priority project
• Excellent interpersonal skills to develop relationships amongst team members
• Expert written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to tailor presentations to executive management and customers
• Demonstrate leadership to elevate project team and stakeholders experience within technology projects
• Elevate project risk management best practices and lessons learned principles throughout the Fime organization
• Challenge software and hardware managers/experts within the project, holding them accountable for their deliverables.
• Good knowledge of electronics and embedded software technology
• Exposure to waterfall and Agile Scrum methodologies
• Be rigorous, with a strong capacity to learn
• Fluency in English and French
• Experienced in Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
