Project H&S Manager

JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a global Data Center Developer as they look to expand their team with a Project H&S Manager in the Paris region of France.

This is a permanent position based in France, with a presence required onsite. The package includes a competitive base salary & annual bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Review and maintain the Project Health, Safety and Environmental Management Plan in accordance with French legislation, client requirements and company standards.
• Provide strategic HSE leadership and advice to the Project Director, Project Management Team and stakeholders.
• Promote a positive safety culture and ensure HSE objective(s) are integrated into all project activities.
• Lead HSE initiatives to achieve project safety performance targets and continuous improvement objectives.
• Act as the senior HSE representative for our client on the project and drive alignment between project stakeholders on HSE expectations and performance.
• Other duties across Regulatory Compliance & Governance, Risk Management & Assurance, Incident Management & Emergency Preparedness, Leadership & Team Management, Contractor & Stakeholder Management and Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience within large-scale construction, industrial, infrastructure, mission-critical, or data centre projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior HSE leadership role managing complex multi-contractor construction environments.
• Demonstrated experience implementing HSE management systems on projects exceeding 500 personnel.
• Experience working on data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, industrial, energy, or major infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Experience interfacing with regulatory authorities, clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Experience supporting commissioning, energization, and high-risk construction activities.
• Previous experience working within European regulatory environments and/or France is preferred.
