Project / Fund Operations Manager

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced project and / or fund operations professional who will support the AIFM by actively leading and coordinating all product related matters. The Project Manager supports the management and administration function of Symbiotics SICAVs structures in Luxemburg and maintains the relationship with third party service providers. He / she oversees the NAV validation process. The Project Manager also supports the development of the company and notably the new fund design projects with teams and partners based internationally.

Job Description

• Main point of contact and escalation of the service providers of the managed funds (central administrator, domicile, transfer agent, auditor)
• Validation of NAV of the compartments of Symbiotics SICAVs in coordination with the portfolio manager
• Responsible for the control and validation of funds fees and invoices
• Coordination of the management of the products (fund design, operational set up, updates during the life cycle and liquidation) with all internal and external stakeholder
• Set‑up and / or follow‑up on tax and regulatory reporting requirements in coordination with external parties
• Report to the Board of the SICAVs for product management and development update
• Responsible for ensuring publication of funds’ data and documents on data provider’s platforms
• Position based in our Paris office with reporting line to the Managing Director of Symbiotics France. After probation period, home office could be considered up to 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Finance
• 5 to 7 years’ experience in funds operations or project management in the asset management industry. Knowledge of private debt asset class is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of fund operations and audit procedures
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and coordinate project
• Great work ethics and a high degree of integrity
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks and deadline
• Rigorous analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Interest in impact finance and/or sustainable development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and French)
