Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and engineering deliverables for substation automation projects.
- Configure and test SCADA systems, protective relays, and communication devices.
- Perform electrical testing using advanced tools like DOBLE and OMICRON.
- Coordinate project activities across design, production, and commissioning phases.
- Engage with customers to optimize solutions and maintain high satisfaction.
- Support project managers with technical input for proposals and risk assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in substation automation projects.
- Hands‑on experience with electrical testing using DOBLE and OMICRON equipment.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
