About the role
As our new Project Accountant Specialist, you'll partner with our internal planning team to ensure everything is tight and on point for client events. From data accuracy in Cvent to overseeing financial documentation, you'll play a critical role in making sure every detail is squared away. You'll collaborate with a variety of colleagues and vendors, all while keeping your eyes on the prize of seamless event execution!
Responsibilities
- Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation files, including reviewing participant attendance in Cvent.
- Overseeing data accuracy for all assigned events and meeting internal/external reporting deadlines.
- Managing Transfer of Value (ToV) documentation for EU countries under EFPIA.
- Collaborating with Meeting Managers to check reconciliation against holding account files and solve budget issues.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism in communications with outside suppliers.
- Working on multiple reconciliations at once while meeting tight deadlines.
- Support with payment execution for HCP reimbursement expenses.
Requirements
- Previous accounting experience in A/P, A/R, and client billing required.
- Familiarity with finance processes and budgeting.
- Experience on a Life Sciences client.
- Strong financial acumen including reviews, audits, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
- Proficiency in Cvent.
- French and English language proficiency in both oral and written communications.
- Travel industry and destination knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong teamwork skills and a knack for building relationships with colleagues and vendors.
- Work independently and be adaptable.
- SAP experience.
- A proactive approach in resolving errors related to participants and budgets.
