Program Manager
Job Description
As we grow our proposition, we are seeking a Program Manager to orchestrate the delivery of high‑value improvement workstreams across Lending, Savings, and Invoice Finance. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will resolve internal resource constraints and manage a hybrid delivery model to ensure strategic milestones are met. Your role is to act as the central “traffic controller,” tracking program outcomes and monitoring operational readiness to ensure a seamless transition from build to launch.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the overarching program roadmap and delivery plan, synchronising workstreams to ensure alignment with the Chief Product Officer’s strategic goals;
- Understand resource constraints, internal bottlenecks, and business context; identify potential delivery risks and drive resolution to keep workstreams on track;
- Own the program‑level governance, maintaining a hybrid waterfall‑agile framework to track milestones, dependencies, and budgets across all active projects;
- Work closely with Product Managers and technical leads to translate high‑level business objectives into achievable delivery and manageable work packages;
- Define, track, and report on program health; track workstream delivery of business value and adhere to the bank’s internal risk and compliance standards;
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders (Risk, Legal, Finance, and IT);
- Review operational readiness and program milestones to ensure all delivery criteria and regulatory requirements are met before a product or feature is transitioned to live;
- Manage executive stakeholder expectations, providing the CPO and board with transparent communication regarding program progress, budget tracking, and resource hotspots.
Essential Experience
- 5+ years in the financial services industry in Europe, ideally with expertise in the SME market;
- Experience launching new platforms across multiple countries;
- Demonstrable experience leading organisational change;
- Has worked in AGILE teams and organisations.
Technical Skills
- Strong stakeholder management across multiple complex relationships;
- Highly familiar with AGILE methodologies.
