Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) or a Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT).

Job Duties
- Provide advanced clinical services through individual, family and/or group counseling to a complex caseload of behavioral health clients.
- Prepare person-centered plans for clients based on recommended levels of care.
- Provide both written and verbal consultation to other agencies.
- Assist the clinic manager in designing and implementing programs that address community needs.
Position-Specific Details
Location: This position is at SCLHSA's River Parishes Behavioral Health Center in Laplace, LA.
Appointment Type: Probationary Appointment
Compensation: The actual starting salary depends on the selected applicant's education and experience.
Career Progression Group (CPG): This position participates in a CPG and may be filled as a Professional Counselor 1, 2, 3, or 4 level, at which the vacancy is filled will be determined by the qualifications of the candidate selected. This position provides the opportunity to advance within this job series.
