Your Responsibilities

Our school is seeking a Science Teacher, with all classes taught exclusively in English.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the science curriculum and supporting student learning in this subject area in English. Specific responsibilities include :

• Providing constructive and timely feedback to promote learning;
• Using appropriate technology to enhance learning;
• Creating a stimulating classroom environment that supports student achievement;
• Using relevant materials to encourage real-world learning contexts;
• Fostering a spirit of inquiry among students;
• Participating in communication and collaboration with teaching teams and families (report cards, parent-teacher conferences, school meetings, etc.).

Your Profile

• You have teaching experience in the field of science and hold a degree in this area.
• Passionate about the subject, you are able to encourage students to develop skills and an interest in science in particular.
• As classes are taught exclusively in English, you must have a bilingual level of English, both spoken and written.
• You have solid experience with the IB and MYP programmes as well as international schools.
• You will be able to ensure that students meet the needs and requirements of the IB programme.
• You demonstrate a collaborative approach to planning and leading initiatives.
