ABOUT THE JOB
As part of the Stim team, you will take overall charge of production management for an animated series. As a Senior Production Manager, you are fully comfortable and autonomous across the entire production pipeline: from initial concept through to final delivery (including editing, sound, and post-production). You will be the operational backbone of the project, ensuring artistic, technical, financial, and scheduling targets are met.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and lead the entire series production workflow, from development/concept through to final post-production stages (editing, sound design, mixing, and broadcast deliverables).
- Establish, maintain, and optimize master schedules, resource planning, and overall production budgets.
- Manage operational relationships and follow-ups with clients, broadcasters, co-producers, and external vendors.
- Lead, structure, and motivate production teams and artists to maintain a smooth work environment.
- Anticipate risks of delays or budget overruns across the entire pipeline, implementing appropriate preventive or corrective solutions.
- Supervise notes management, approvals, and session feedback to ensure proper execution by creative teams.
- Work in close collaboration with studio management for internal planning and resource management.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Minimum of 5 years of senior production management experience in the animation industry.
- Comprehensive, in-depth mastery of the entire series production chain (concept, storyboard, 2D/3D creation, editing, sound, compliance, and delivery).
- Excellent command of production management and asset tracking tools (Kitsu, ShotGrid / Flow Production Tracking, Excel, Google Sheets).
- Strong ability to anticipate challenges, show initiative, and work autonomously when facing complex production issues.
- Solid managerial skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to communicate diplomatically with diverse team profiles.
- Fluent in French (written and spoken).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
NICE TO HAVE
- In-depth understanding of the legal, financial, and technical aspects of the film and audiovisual industry.
- Experience with multi-site projects or international co-productions.
