Job Summary
The Production Team Member is responsible for supporting daily operations along the production line. This role involves handling product, operating machinery, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required , as this team member may also serve as an interpreter to support communication across departments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Follow company standards for speed, quality, and food safety
- Work in various roles on the production line, including cutting/trimming, loading/unloading centrifuge machines, bagging, packing, and other duties as needed
- Serve as a translator between English and Spanish-speaking team members or supervisors when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment
- Handle equipment and tools safely and report any issues immediately
- Adhere to all company policies, food safety protocols, and health/safety regulations
- Report pest or product quality issues to the supervisor, including type, location, and severity
- Remain punctual and accurately use the company’s time-tracking system during breaks and lunches
- Work in a production environment averaging 70°F, with background noise around 70 decibels
Basic Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a U.S. citizen, legal migrant, or permanent resident
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Able to interpret and translate workplace communication as needed
- Willing to work overtime or weekends when required
- Able to take direction, accept feedback, and work independently or in a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods
- Regularly lift and move 1–50 pounds
- Lift up to 50 pounds from floor level
- Ability to squat, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the shift
- Tolerate cold environments (as low as 34°F) for long duration
Schedule
- 10-hour shifts
- Morning Shift (6.00 am - 4.00 pm)
- Overtime and weekend availability required
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
