Production Associate Night Shift
Job Summary
Shift: Nights Mon - Fri 7p - 7a. Pay: $19.50/hr plus $1 shift differential.
Summary/Objective
Meets EHS requirements and fulfills responsibilities of this position, complying with all policies, cardinal safety rules, or regulations set forth by CBB, Simonton, or various government agencies concerning safety, environment, vehicles and any related items.
The production associate performs all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products, following standard work methods and safe work habits. Repetitive bench or line assembly operations produce windows by performing duties listed below.
Essential Functions
- Assembles materials to produce sub‑assemblies or finished products from raw materials.
- Attaches appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
- Packs finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
- Tracks production on schedule boards.
- Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
- Places finished goods in the designated area.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Maintains production schedule to meet customer orders daily.
- Rotates to different workstations as production needs require.
- Reads a tape measure accurately and consistently.
- Has knowledge of basic math.
- Reads and comprehends floor reports.
- Can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Maintains attendance and punctuality – consistently at work and on time.
- Is dependable – commits to long hours when necessary to reach goals.
- Accomplishes quality performance meeting or exceeding all line, department, facility, and company processes within a total quality program of continuous improvement and customer relations.

Supervisory responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions
Required to work near glass, vinyl, fumes, airborne particles; moving mechanical parts; vibration; extreme heat; and loud noise. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel‑toed footwear is required.
Must be able to walk, use hands, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 lbs (in specified positions), stand for long periods. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment.
Position Type / Working Hours
Full‑time position, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. Regular overtime and weekend work may be required.

- Required – None.
- Preferred – Prior production experience; high school diploma.
