Product Owner for Vehicle Order
Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated OMS Product Owner to manage and drive a portfolio of evolutions within a highly complex Order Management System, operating in an environment with numerous concurrent projects.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in managing critical systems and orchestrating multiple parallel initiatives while ensuring business continuity.
Accountable end-to-end for the OMS scope, the Product Owner will:
- Lead and prioritize a dense portfolio of initiatives and enhancements
- Ensure consistency and scalability of the OMS ecosystem
- Align IT delivery with key business objectives across sales, supply chain, logistics, and finance
The role acts as a central interface between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, driving all the main initiatives on OMS.
Responsibilities
- Lead and animate a multi-project OMS evolution portfolio (strategic projects, regulatory updates, performance improvements, maintenance)
- Define priorities based on business value, technical constraints, and cross-system dependencies
- Maintain a consolidated and coherent product roadmap
- Identify, manage, and arbitrate dependencies across interconnected systems
- Ensure effective delivery in a context of high project concurrency and system complexity
- Define and drive the OMS product vision aligned with IT and business strategy
- Build and manage the roadmap covering
- System transformation
- Legacy system migration
- Contribute to end-to-end process optimization
Project Execution & Delivery
- On-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
- Proper milestone tracking and governance
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors
- Manage risks, impacts, and interdependencies
- Validate functional and technical requirements
- Ensure clear and consistent stakeholder communication
- Be Point of contact with RUN team to ensure system stability and performance
- Identify improvement opportunities and lead remediation plans
- Foster a data-driven continuous improvement approach
Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Lead a complex ecosystem involving
- IT teams
- Business stakeholders (sales, supply chain, finance)
- External partners
- Act as the OMS Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for functional and process decisions
- Drive alignment and collaboration across all stakeholders
- Handle prioritization conflicts and decision arbitration
- Animate business cases for OMS initiatives
- Control the overall portfolio budget
- Supervise external vendors
- Contractual commitments
- Compliance with security and regulatory standards
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or related field
- 7–10 years of experience managing complex IT systems and projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives in complex environments
- Strategic prioritization
- Cross-functional leadership
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Agile and/or traditional project management methodologies
- Strong experience with Order Management Systems is a plus
- Fluency in English and French
