Product Owner

I am currently representing a leading international industrial group with a major presence in the Molsheim region. To strengthen their digital transformation, they are looking to recruit an IT Product Owner on a permanent (CDI) basis.

Operating at the intersection of business operations and technology, you will be a key member of the local IT department, driving the evolution of critical manufacturing systems.

The Role

• In this strategic position, you will oversee the systems dedicated to production scheduling and time management. Your responsibilities will include:
• Architecture & Vision: Designing the roadmap for production planning tools in coordination with internal experts and external technology partners.
• Project Leadership: Managing the full lifecycle from initial requirements gathering and functional specifications to cost estimation, development coordination, and deployment.
• System Modernization: Maintaining current operational solutions while actively preparing and executing the transition to next-generation architectures.
• Integration: Ensuring seamless data flow across systems and supporting the evolution of related business processes.
• International Collaboration: Working daily with global IT and business teams (in English and German).

The Ideal Candidate

• Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: A minimum of 6 years in a similar role, specifically bridging the gap between shop‑floor/business needs and IT delivery within an industrial environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of industrialization processes and production workflows.
• Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. A working knowledge of German is highly preferred due to the group's international structure.
• Soft Skills: You are a proactive, curious professional with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
