Product Manager | Circular Chemicals & Packaging | Europe

Cyclone Technology is an industrial-scale recycling technology company headquartered in Putian, China.

Cyclone has built a strong recycled polyester platform through bottle-to-textile and textile-to-textile recycling, combining innovation, traceability, production scale and partnerships with leading global brands.

Cyclone is now expanding in Europe across recycled PET packaging and recycled monomers for specialty chemicals.

The company is building a local team to develop business with chemical companies, packaging players, FMCG companies and global Brand Owners.

Role:

• Build and manage the European product portfolio for circular chemicals and packaging materials
• Translate technology into clear product offers, specifications, datasheets, samples and customer-ready technical packages
• Coordinate testing, sampling, qualification and customer trials with R&D, Quality, Production, laboratories and customers
• Turn customer feedback and test results into clear priorities and actions for HQ teams
• Manage the product roadmap, balancing customer needs, technical performance, regulatory requirements and production capabilities
• Act as the product interface between European customers and Cyclone HQ in China

Profile:

• Technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in product management, application development, technical service or R&D-to-market roles in specialty chemicals, polymers or materials
• Strong technical credibility and the ability to understand product specifications, testing, quality and customer qualification
• Customer-oriented and comfortable translating technical capabilities into clear value propositions and product priorities
• Exposure to regulatory, sustainability, quality or external laboratory work is an advantage
• Comfortable working with technical, commercial, regulatory and procurement stakeholders
• PET, polyester or recycling experience is welcome but not required
• Fluent English; comfortable working in an international Europe–Asia environment
• Entrepreneurial, practical, autonomous and comfortable in a lean build-up environment

Scope & Operating Model:

• Based in Europe, close to a major airport
• Travel 30%, including customer visits, trials, industry events and alignment with Cyclone HQ in China
• Report to the Vice President Business Development
• Work closely with Cyclone R&D, Quality, Production and commercial teams in China and Europe
• Operate in a Europe-China matrix organization
• Work with customers, laboratories, converters and technical partners
