Product Engineer Lead (x/f/m) - Growth Area

About the Role

Crew Lead of Acquisition Funnel crew (~8 Alaners – 4 engineers) – technical manager responsible for organizing crew work and accountable for crew output. 40% of time as individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize alan.com – high‑traffic platform for acquisition.
• Power acquisition channels (paid, SEO, LLM, etc.) across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada.
• Develop seamless self‑serve flows: discovery, quote, signup.
• Support business initiatives: partnership integrations, accountant tools, referral systems, and brand campaigns.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Research, and Product (Engineering, Data, PM, Design).

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience leading a team.
• Proven track record of building and shipping web applications.
• Strong interest in business, conversion funnels, marketing metrics, and growth.
• Clear career progression with increasing responsibility, scope, and impact.
• Self‑starting, entrepreneurial, humble, and collaborative.
• English working proficiency.
