Cyclone Technology is an industrial-scale recycling technology company headquartered in Putian, China. Cyclone has built a strong recycled polyester platform through bottle-to-textile and textile-to-textile recycling, combining innovation, traceability, production scale and partnerships with leading global brands. Cyclone is now expanding in Europe across recycled PET packaging and recycled monomers for specialty chemicals. This role is for a senior polymer, PET, polyester, recycling or specialty materials leader. Ready to join a growing international business and build something new. The mission is entrepreneurial. We are looking for someone positive, practical and hands-on, who enjoys building business and working across cultures.

Role:

Build the European product platform for r-PET packaging, recycled polyester applications and selected recycled monomers. Translate Cyclone’s technology and production capabilities into market-ready offers, specifications, datasheets, sample files and application roadmaps. Lead testing, sampling, qualification and customer trial programs with R&D, Quality, Production, external laboratories, converters and customer teams. Consolidate customer feedback and test results, identify gaps and coordinate corrective actions with HQ teams. Manage the product roadmap for Europe, aligning customer needs, regulatory requirements, sustainability expectations and production capabilities. Serve as the product interface between European customers and Cyclone HQ in China.

Profile:

Master’s degree or Ph

D in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science or related technical field. 20+ years of experience in polymers, PET, polyester, recycled materials, packaging, specialty chemicals markets. Strong technical credibility in PET / polyester materials, recycled polymers, product specifications, application testing, customer qualification and industrial validation. Senior experience in product management, application development, technical service, R&D-to-market transfer. Exposure to PET packaging, recycled materials, polyester fibers, technical textiles, specialty polymers, converters, chemical intermediates or brand-owner qualification processes. Good understanding of quality, traceability, sustainability documentation, LCA, REACH, food-contact materials, NIAS, EFSA / FDA interfaces or external laboratory coordination. Credible with senior technical, quality, regulatory, innovation, procurement, sustainability and business stakeholders. Strong international experience, ideally across Europe and Asia. Fluent English required. Mandarin would be an advantage. Entrepreneurial, structured, pragmatic, positive, autonomous and comfortable in a lean build-up environment.

Scope & Operating Model:

Based in Europe, close to a major airport. Travel 30%, including customer visits, trials, industry events and alignment with Cyclone HQ in China. Report to the Vice President Business Development. Strong links to Cyclone Technology, R&D, Quality and Production teams in China. Operate in a Europe-China matrix organization. Work with converters, brand owners, laboratories, regulatory experts and technical partners.
