Product Director – Communication & Collaboration Lum
Apps is seeking an experienced Product Director to lead the Communication & Collaboration (C&C) tribe, the core of the Lum
Apps platform focused on creating and distributing engaging content, knowledge management, and real-time collaboration features for thousands of customers and millions of users.
Responsibilities
Set the tribe strategy & portfolio: Define and maintain a strategic, data‑informed tribe roadmap aligned to company objectives, customer needs, and market trends; make the “why” explicit and measurable.
Drive execution across multiple teams: Ensure alignment of team‑level roadmaps, sequence bets, manage interdependencies (within and across tribes), and deliver against commitments.
Be the persona Subject Matter Expert & external voice: Act as the subject‑matter expert for key buyer personas (e.g., Internal Communication and Corporate Communication managers); engage customers, prospects, and GTM teams with a compelling narrative.
Champion discovery & validation: Institutionalize discovery, experimentation, and evidence‑based decision‑making (qual/quant research, product analytics, market signals).
Lead and grow PM talent: Mentor and develop product managers; raise the bar on decision quality, prioritization, and backlog/roadmap hygiene.
Own outcomes & transparency: Define, track, and communicate KPIs/OKRs for the domain (adoption, activation, engagement, satisfaction), and regularly share progress and trade‑offs.
Align stakeholders & resolve friction: Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, CS, Marketing, and PX; serve as the escalation point to resolve conflicts and keep delivery unblocked.
Drive the agentification of core Communication & Collaboration workflows: Focus on AI agents for content creation, real‑time content scoring, and multi‑style rewriting to amplify content quality and reach.
Measurement & Outcomes
Increased adoption and engagement of Communication & Collaboration use cases across the customer base.
A clear, data‑informed tribe roadmap that accelerates Lum
Apps’ growth in the intranet and real‑time communication areas.
Strong cross‑team and cross‑functional collaboration, ensuring the tribe operates effectively, aligns with company priorities, and influences the wider product strategy.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Product Director, Head of Product, or Senior Product Manager, leading multiple teams in a B2B Saa
S environment.
A strong balance of strategic vision and execution ability, able to craft long‑term direction while ensuring delivery.
Demonstrated success in scaling product organizations, with multi‑year experience managing PMs and influencing across functions.
Deep customer empathy and ability to act as a trusted expert for buyer personas and customer needs.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to build alignment across diverse teams and priorities.
A track record of driving measurable product adoption, usage, and satisfaction outcomes.
Strong understanding of go‑to‑market collaboration with Sales, CS, and Marketing.
Familiarity with modern product discovery frameworks (e.g., continuous discovery habits, dual‑track agile).
Experience and strong understanding of the Internal Communication, Knowledge Management, and Real‑Time Collaboration domains and use cases in both desk and frontline scenarios, and the competitive landscape.
Professional proficiency in English (C1 or equivalent).
AI feature launch & infrastructure expertise: Proven experience launching AI‑powered features (e.g., Agents, LLM‑based copilots, etc.) and a strong understanding of the underlying infrastructure required to scale them (e.g., RAG systems, Agent Hubs, and AI Trust & Governance models).
Bonus Points
Background in pricing and packaging strategy.
Public speaking or thought leadership experience as a domain expert in your buyer persona’s field.
French and/or German business fluency.
