Job Description
ETF & Product Strategy teams (including Product Development & Intelligence and Fund Range) belong to the MIROVA department – Business Development and play a key role in defining MIROVA’s product strategy to create the next “blockbusters”, notably to meet our ambitions in terms of Retail & ETF clientele.
Team responsibilities:
- Product Development & Life Cycle: be in charge of product innovation projects (from idea generation to launch and throughout the lifecycle) and review MIROVA’s funds in response to customer requests. Coordinate the governance of MIROVA (e.g. innovation, restructuring/redesign, prioritization).
- Seed Money: coordinate the seed committees in order to support the general management in defining the company’s product strategy and ensure the follow-up of seed initiatives (internal and external).
- Product Intelligence: provide market intelligence and in-depth analyses to support and assess the relevance of our company, products and sales strategy.
- Product Development & Intelligence manager – ETF will work on the following areas:
- Product Life‑Cycle:
- Management of the range: recommend repositioning, mergers, closures or rebranching to optimize profitability, customer offering, and platform consistency.
- Multidimensional monitoring: analyze the range of ETFs and listed products (flows, stocks, profitability, distribution, performance, tracking error, liquidity, spreads and regulatory compliance: SFDR, UCITS, MiFID).
- Change management: lead adjustment projects (changes in indices/methodologies, ESG criteria, fees, stock classes or listing transfers).
- Strategic alignment: ensuring the adequacy of products with Mirova’s ESG/impact positioning and customer needs.
- Development & Commercial Support:
- Project Management Launch: design the BPs, coordinate internal (Legal, Marketing, Sales, Finance) and external teams (search for seeders), and optimize time‑to‑market.
- Idea generation & Communication: lead product reflection with management and distribution; survey and inform the sales force; report the progress of the pipeline to management.
- Product Intelligence:
- Market analysis & data: use the tools (Morningstar, Broadridge, eVestment) to produce competitive watches (notably ETFs), ad hoc studies (for sales/calls for tenders) and coordinate external qualitative ratings.
- M&A & Recruitment Support (lift‑out): identify external growth opportunities and evaluate competing structures/talents to expand our management expertise.
- Product governance & Seed capital:
- Support the organization and coordination of Product Committees and Seed Committees.
- ETF specificities:
- Technical & Commercial Expert: to be the reference for sales teams (pitches, use cases, comparative analyses of fees/ESG/liquidity).
- Capital Markets Interface: optimize the tradability of ETFs with market makers and APs (management of primary/secondary liquidity, spreads, creation/redemption process) and educate clients on execution.
- Design & Structuring: collaborate with active/passive management and index providers to structure ETF strategies (methodology, ESG, operational constraints).
- Ready‑to‑trade: manage the launch schedule to ensure that ETFs are operational and marketable from day one.
- Continuous optimization & marketing: use trading and performance indicators to improve products, respond to RFPs and validate sales materials (pitchbooks, factsheets, educational content).
- Other strategic missions:
- Prepare presentations for the Executive Committee (projects, opportunities, market).
- Participate in the global strategy for ETF expansion (business plan, roadmap) and international development (e.g. United States).

This position is based in Paris with the possibility to work from home.
Required Skills / Qualifications / Experience
With a higher education, you have at least two years of experience in product development in ETFs.
You have excellent interpersonal skills and a very good ability to listen.
