Job Description
Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is looking for a Product Definition & Change Planning Specialist to join our team based in Kinston, NC. You will be part of a team developing and guiding projects and configuration management activities necessary to incorporate new products or product changes, in accordance with contractual, customer, program, and regulatory requirements.

Working Environment
The Airbus Aerosystems Kinston facility specializes in the production of large, advanced composite aerostructures. Our team builds critical components for the state‑of‑the‑art Airbus A350 XWB, including the composite center fuselage and wing spar.

Responsibilities
- Interface with program management, product design, contracts, tooling, manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, component suppliers, assemblers, and product support to develop and maintain configuration incorporation plans and integrated schedules.
- Develop and guide project and configuration‑management activities required to incorporate new products or product changes in accordance with contractual, customer, program, and regulatory requirements.
- Apply project and configuration management principles to control product changes, negotiate incorporation plans, and develop integrated schedules.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with plans and schedules, report status, and resolve plan deviations with the value chain.
- Interpret technical work statements, manufacturing plans, and program‑level plans.
Requirements
- No domestic or international travel.
- US citizen, work on site in Kinston.
- Good computer skills (Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office).
- Emotional intelligence in a complex evolving environment.
- Demonstrates transparency, collaboration, and inspiration in daily work.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (or associate’s degree).
- Experience with SAP.
