Product Compliance & Partnerships Manager

PARIS, 75
il y a 1 jour

Reports to: Director of Product

Team structure: Individual contributor; close collaboration with cross-functional leads across Product, Engineering, Operations, Commercial, Legal and external partners

Scope: Both TSPay platforms (Pay-In orchestration and Pay-Out VCN issuance)

Travel: ~10–15% (partner meetings, industry conferences, occasional client visits)

Travelsoft Pay is building the modern payment operating system for travel. We're the trusted payment hub sitting between travel merchants and regulated financial partners, managing both payment orchestration (Pay-In) and supplier payouts via virtual cards (Pay-Out). We operate as a pure technology layer—we don't hold licenses ourselves; instead, we partner deeply with PSPs, BNPL providers, card issuers and banks to deliver compliant, innovative payment solutions at scale.

You'll be the keeper of our product integrity, partner satisfaction, and market intelligence. This role combines product governance, strategic partnership management, and regulatory awareness—ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of commerce, compliance and technology. You'll work with the Director of Product to shape the roadmap, protect our partner relationships, stay ahead of regulatory change, and identify emerging payment capabilities that unlock new revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Product Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance: Review new product features against payment scheme rules (Mastercard, Visa, etc.), partner contract requirements and internal governance standards before launch
  • Partner coordination: Lead compliance reviews with regulated partners (PSPs, issuers, acquiring banks) and payment networks to validate product design
  • Documentation: Maintain product compliance checklists, implementation standards, API integration guides and partner certification requirements
  • Regulatory tracking: Monitor payment industry developments (PSD2 evolution, Open Banking, BNPL regulation, emerging markets) and assess impact on TSPay's roadmap
  • Legal alignment: Work with Legal and Compliance teams to interpret contractual obligations and translate them into product requirements

Strategic Partner Management

  • Relationship ownership: Manage day-to-day partnerships with 5–8 strategic providers (PSPs, card issuers, BNPL partners, acquirers); be the primary contact for product questions and escalations
  • Onboarding & certification: Coordinate partner onboarding workflows, technical certification and go-live readiness
  • Roadmap intelligence: Monitor partner product roadmaps and innovation backlogs; identify emerging capabilities (e.g., new payment methods, regional coverage) that could benefit TSPay
  • Business reviews: Organize quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with strategic partners; prepare scorecards on volume, latency, compliance and satisfaction
  • Issue resolution: Escalate and coordinate resolution of critical product or operational issues affecting partner integrations; own communication until closure
  • Industry monitoring: Track trends across payments, fintech, BNPL and travel technology; stay informed on competitor positioning, new entrants and emerging payment methods
  • Competitive analysis: Maintain a live competitive landscape (alternative payment methods, player capabilities, pricing models) and share insights with leadership
  • Provider repository: Build and maintain a database of payment providers, alternative payment methods (buy-now-pay-later, digital wallets, regional methods) and their capabilities
  • Strategic recommendations: Prepare quarterly reports and strategic recommendations for the management team on market opportunities and threats
  • Customer feedback integration: Collect and synthesize feedback from commercial teams, customers and partners to identify product gaps and improvement priorities

Product Delivery Support

  • Roadmap collaboration: Support the Director of Product in prioritizing roadmap initiatives and defining feature requirements
  • Feature coordination: Manage feature requests flowing in from commercial teams, operations and customers; synthesize into product specs and prioritization
  • Go-to-market: Coordinate product launches, partner enablement, documentation updates and customer communication
  • RFP support: Provide product expertise, partner references and partnership capability in response to customer RFPs
  • Documentation ownership: Ensure product documentation, compliance guides and integration specs stay current and accurate

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Stakeholder coordination: Serve as a bridge between Product, Engineering, Operations, Commercial and Legal teams; ensure clarity on requirements, timelines and dependencies
  • Project coordination: Support the execution of complex multi-partner or multi-platform initiatives
  • Process improvement: Contribute to improving internal processes, documentation and team workflows
  • Knowledge sharing: Organize regular syncs, document key decisions and escalations, maintain institutional knowledge

Year One Success Metrics

  • All active partners have current compliance documentation and business review cadence established
  • Zero compliance-related product delays or go-live blockers
  • 2–3 new partner capabilities identified and validated for roadmap inclusion
  • Competitive landscape and market trend briefing prepared and shared quarterly
  • BNPL provider relationships strengthened; at least one new BNPL integration or capability launched
  • Documentation library for partners and internal stakeholders 90%+ up-to-date
  • Cross-functional team sees this role as the trusted source for product governance and partner health

Requirements

Languages

  • Fluent French (mandatory)
  • Spanish or additional European languages (strong advantage)

Experience

  • 3–5 years in Product Management, Product Operations, Payments, Partnerships or similar role
  • Fintech, payments or banking experience (highly preferred)
  • Travel technology sector (strong advantage, but not required)

About Travelsoft Pay

Travelsoft Pay is the payment technology hub of the Travelsoft Group, headquartered in Paris. We operate two technically separated platforms:

  • Pay-In: A modern payment orchestration layer that connects travel merchants to dozens of payment methods and providers
  • Pay-Out: A B2B virtual card issuance platform enabling travel companies and agencies to pay suppliers efficiently and securely

We position ourselves as a pure technology layer. All regulated activities (acquiring, issuing, lending) sit with our licensed PSP and BNPL partners. This allows us to move fast, scale globally and focus on product innovation—not regulatory complexity.
