Position Overview :
We are looking for a Product Application & Engineering Specialist to support APX DCS solutions (CRAH, Fan Wall, Dry Coolers) across the full lifecycle—from product selection and quotation to production follow-up and technical support.
This role bridges engineering, sales, and operations , ensuring accurate configurations, smooth execution, and strong customer support.
The position will initially be based in France (Lyon) for the first year and may subsequently be located in any of our offices across Europe, including France, Spain, the UK, Poland, and others.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Selection & Configuration
- Analyze customer requirements and project specifications
- Select and configure appropriate solutions (CRAH, Fan Wall, Dry Cooler)
- Ensure compliance with technical and performance requirements
- Quotation & Costing
- Prepare technical and commercial quotations
- Define system configurations and pricing
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Create and validate BOMs for selected solutions
- Ensure accuracy and alignment with design and production
- 3D Design / Technical Modeling
- Support or review 3D models and product layouts
- Contribute to technical documentation and design validation
- Production Follow-up
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams
- Track project progress and resolve technical issues
- Ensure delivery timelines and quality standards
- Laboratory / Testing Follow-up
- Support product validation and testing activities
- Analyze performance results and provide feedback
- Technical Support & Customer Interface
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams
- Assist with troubleshooting and solution optimization
- Support change requests and technical clarifications
- Contribute to process improvements
- Support standardization and documentation updates
Profile Requirements :
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field
- Experience in HVAC systems (CRAH, air handling, cooling systems preferred)
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Ability to work cross-functional (sales, R&D, production)
- Familiarity with 3D tools and BOM management
