Job Purpose
As a Performance Project Manager, you won't just track numbers – you'll tell the story behind them.
Your role is to drive and monitor Procurement Performance, turning complex data into compelling insights that demonstrate Procurement's strategic contribution to AXA's growth. You'll be a trusted voice across the organization, engaging with senior executives and operational teams alike to influence decisions that matter.
Main Missions
- Own the Sourcing pipeline – Partner with Sourcing teams and Finance to define, build, monitor and report on performance, ensuring full visibility at every level of the organization.
- Drive savings delivery – Lead the monitoring of savings performance using validated methodologies, and craft sharp, executive‑ready analyses for top management and C‑level reporting.
- Be the go‑to expert – Support sourcing teams in applying savings methodologies and validation processes, positioning yourself as a key enabler of procurement excellence.
- Manage high‑stakes relationships – Act as the primary interface with Finance for savings validation and reporting, navigating complex stakeholder dynamics with confidence and credibility.
- Deliver executive‑level reporting – Ensure quarterly performance reporting to Group Procurement leadership, translating data into clear, actionable narratives for senior audiences.
- Fuel continuous improvement – Analyze procurement spend and savings to proactively identify efficiency opportunities and challenge the status quo.
Expected Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in a demanding, fast‑paced environment.
- Proven track record in strategic transformation and planning with a strong financial dimension.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- (Nice to have) Experience in an international work environment.
Technical Skills
- Exceptional analytical mindset – able to synthesize complexity into clear, executive‑level narratives.
- Executive storytelling – the ability to frame data into compelling, decision‑driving narratives for C‑suite audiences.
- Solid knowledge of Procurement and/or Controlling.
- Financial modeling fundamentals – comfortable with P&L logic, budget cycles, and savings business cases.
- Strategic thinker who challenges assumptions and drives change.
- Advanced Excel skills for performance data analysis.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills – you know how to build a deck that lands in a boardroom.
Soft Skills / Transversal Skills
- Fluent in English & French (spoken and written).
- Expert stakeholder manager – equally comfortable presenting to a C‑suite executive and collaborating with operational teams.
- Influencing without authority – able to align and mobilize cross‑functional teams around shared goals without direct reporting lines.
- Conflict resolution & negotiation – skilled at navigating tensions, particularly in sensitive contexts such as savings validation with Finance.
- Executive communication – concise, confident, and impactful whether in a one‑pager or a boardroom presentation.
- Resilience & adaptability – able to manage shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and ambiguity with composure.
- Ability to zoom out, see the big picture, and prioritize what truly matters.
- Structured, rigorous, and organized – you bring clarity to complexity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a natural collaborator.
Where will you be in the organization?
You’ll join the Group Procurement division, whose mission is to increase AXA's competitiveness by optimizing the end‑to‑end procurement cycle and building a high‑performance, sustainable, and risk‑managed supplier base.
You’ll be part of the Group Procurement Performance & Data team – a strategic unit at the crossroads of finance, operations, and executive decision‑making.
