About us
Our cofounder, who previously led the financial department in another company, experienced the pain around procurement processes and the lack of clarity and information. To solve this, he founded Najar in 2021. In just a few years, we’ve grown to several millions in ARR supporting 200+ customers in France and across Europe in their procurement journey, growing the team to 70+ people (including remote employees).
Following a successful Seed funding round and a Series A of €15 million led by 13Books, Portage and Tomcat, we are focused on continuing our growth and expanding our impact in the market. We have the ambition of being the leading procurement solution in France, and Europe. Our goal is to become the strategic partner for businesses, their Architect of Trust.
Your role
You are both a strategic advisor and an operational lead for our clients. You help them structure, manage, and optimize their IT and SaaS procurement, turning procurement into a true performance lever.
You will work closely with Finance, IT, Legal, Security, and Business teams on the client side, leading procurement projects from strategy to execution. Using Najar’s AI-powered platform and data insights, you will help clients make better decisions, anticipate renewals, optimize costs, and select the right partners.
Your role is not just to run sourcing projects : It is to build long‑term partnerships, bring strategic insight, and create measurable impact for your clients.
Your responsibilities
Strategic Advisory & Client Partnership
Understand, challenge, and structure clients’ procurement needs, translating them into clear sourcing strategies and action plans,
Support key stakeholders in achieving their strategic objectives through data‑driven, AI‑powered recommendations,
Build strong, long‑term client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on IT and SaaS procurement topics.
Procurement Project Leadership
Lead end‑to‑end procurement projects, from scoping to negotiation and implementation,
Coordinate with client stakeholders (Business, Finance, Legal, IT, Security, Compliance) and suppliers throughout the process,
Manage contract renewals and negotiations by anticipating deadlines and identifying optimization opportunities,
Collaborate with other Procurement Partners on the same accounts to ensure consistency and performance.
Data‑Driven Optimization
Analyze client data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimization levers,
Implement SaaS management and procurement best practices to optimize software inventory and spending,
Define and execute procurement strategies based on data, benchmarks, and market insights.
Market Intelligence & Product Collaboration
Conduct benchmarks, sourcing, and RFI processes to identify best‑fit suppliers and solutions,
Leverage AI tools to synthesize market information and prioritize the most relevant opportunities,
Share client feedback and market insights with the Product team to contribute to the evolution of Najar’s platform and features.
Your profile
Must‑haves
Experience in IT, SaaS, or tech procurement, strategic sourcing, or procurement consulting.Strong project and stakeholder management skills in complex environments.Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.A client‑facing, consulting‑oriented mindset.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work cross‑functionally.Fluency in French and English.
