Are you an ambitious procurement professional looking for something more commercially dynamic than a traditional in-house procurement role?

We are partnering with one of the fastest-growing procurement technology businesses in Europe as they continue to expand their team in Paris. Following significant international growth and investment, they are looking for a Procurement Manager to manage and optimise technology spend for a portfolio of major customers.

This is a highly client-facing procurement position . You won't simply be running sourcing exercises behind the scenes. You'll take ownership of customer relationships, work directly with senior stakeholders including CFOs and C-suite leaders , and become a trusted commercial partner to the organisations you support.

As a Procurement Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of a portfolio of customers, building strong relationships and proactively leading their procurement activity
• Manage SaaS and technology procurement projects, including sourcing, negotiations, renewals and supplier optimisation
• Engage directly with senior stakeholders to understand commercial objectives and technology requirements
• Lead negotiations with major software and SaaS vendors, identifying opportunities to reduce cost and improve commercial terms
• Work alongside experienced SaaS procurement specialists, giving you the opportunity to rapidly deepen your category expertise
• Take genuine ownership of your accounts, identifying opportunities to improve outcomes rather than waiting for direction
• Contribute ideas and challenge existing ways of working as the business continues to scale

The position has genuine commercial ownership. Procurement Managers act as the primary buy-side contact for their customers and develop software commercial strategies alongside them.

Required experience:

You don't necessarily need to have spent your entire career specialising in SaaS. We're more interested in finding someone with the commercial ability, personality and client-facing confidence to succeed in the environment.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• 3-6 years' experience across procurement, strategic sourcing, indirect procurement or a relevant commercial environment
• Exposure to technology, software or SaaS procurement would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage directly with senior and C-suite stakeholders
• Strong negotiation and commercial skills
• Fluent French and excellent English
• A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive actions independently
• The adaptability to succeed in a rapidly growing scale-up environment
• Evidence of challenging existing processes, improving ways of working or driving change

You’ll join an experienced procurement team where you can develop deep SaaS expertise while gaining significantly more customer exposure, commercial ownership and autonomy than you'd typically find in a traditional corporate procurement position.
