Procurement Manager

Procurement Manager - France, Toulouse - 3 Months Rolling Contract

Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, is recruiting a Procurement Manager to join their capital project in Toulouse. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant and will require the implementation of all safety requirements for a new build facility estimated at approximately 14,900 m². We are looking for a Procurement Manager to help expand our client’s biotech operations throughout Europe.

What you’ll do:

• Strong seniority in direct people management – the role will have three buyers reporting directly who require structure and close support in process execution, governance compliance and communication with various stakeholders.
• Experienced in Global Category Management with a focus on indirect spend, Facility & Laboratory Services (OPEX & CAPEX). Act as a backup for facility and laboratory equipment CAPEX projects.
• Must be familiar with complex procurement category governance within a matrix organization (Global vs Local).
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
• The environment and context are complex and undergoing transformation.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience within procurement/buyer roles.
• Extensive management experience preferred.
• Experience with indirect procurement.
