Procurement & Contracts Manager Oil and Gas Industry

We are looking for an experienced (10 years plus) Procurement and Contracts Manager

About The Role

The project is with a tier one client and will be working on the early phase of their project. The project itself is phased into progressive steps, and each step will need the Procurement Manager to play a key role in helping to achieve each step.

The role will be responsible for activities such as – writing a project procurement strategy – creating template documents and tools – hiring additional procurement team members – tendering and negotiating of supply and services agreements.

About The Person

Must have minimum of ten years continual experience as a procurement manager, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Must be capable of leading and innovating whilst also displaying best practice in procurement and supply chain methodologies.

The candidate must be approachable, have solid value that they live by each day including showing authority where appropriate with respect at all time.

Qualifications

Mandatory: you must have Australian citizenship or a valid Australian work visa (please do not express interest without either).

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Masters will be advantageous.
• CIPS certification/membership
