Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities
The Process Engineer is a member of the ME (Manufacturing Engineering) team and is responsible for all mechanical equipment related to the Polyurethane process.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all process aspects related to mechanics, automation, and robotics
- Lead industrial projects for the retrofitting of production lines or the implementation of new foaming and assembly lines
- Propose Proofs of Concept (PoC) to support process improvement and innovation initiatives
- Define production line concepts in collaboration with the ME specialist team
- Write technical specifications for new equipment and machines
- Prepare and manage the investment budget for assigned projects
- Support Program Manufacturing Leaders (PML) in plants during new project implementations
- Lead key suppliers within his/her domain or project scope
- Launch purchase orders and track delivery of machines and materials
- Participate with PMLs in supplier validation and final acceptance of new equipment
- Manage machine acceptance in terms of performance and safety complianceSupport the set‑up and commissioning phase of new equipment
- Define and maintain process standards for the discipline
Your profile and competencies to succeed
- Master of Engineering in Equipment Design, Project Management/ Automation and Robotics
Experience
- Experience in automotive or PUR (polyurethane) projects is a plus
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the production sector, including:
- Knowledge of PUR pouring machines
- Knowledge of automation and robotics
- Knowledge of tooling
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong teamwork skills
- Proficiency in English and French (required)
- Knowledge of 3D CAD software such as CATIA or equivalent
- Knowledge of automation using Siemens TIA Portal
- Knowledge of robotics and emerging technologies such as AI
