Responsibilities
- Commissioning, qualifying, and supporting assembly for SCBA products.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to scale up and qualify new products.
- Leading continuous improvement projects in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
- Leading programs to improve product and process understanding (PPU) with emphasis on statistical techniques.
- Determining and implementing capital improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience working with Lean Manufacturing concepts/practices.
- Demonstrated experience participating on cross‑functional teams.
- Flexible to provide support across different shifts of manufacturing operations as needed.
- Engineering co‑op or inter experience.
- Self‑starter/self‑directed that leads with high energy and passion.
Location & Travel
- Monroe, NC
- Travel may include up to 10% domestic/international.
- Relocation may be authorized.
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Compensation & Benefits
Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $98,964 - $120,957, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
