Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Process Engineer to join our team, based in Rho, Milan. In this role, you will support the implementation of cutting-edge chemical processes across large-scale capital projects. You will collaborate with project teams, project managers, and program managers to optimize processes, ensure safety and compliance, and improve productivity and cost efficiency across our global manufacturing operations. As part of your responsibilities, you will be directly involved in:

  • Collaborating with Project Managers to define and implement chemical processes on large capital projects.
  • Developing and documenting technology best practices, process designs, and equipment specifications.
  • Providing expertise in process optimization, troubleshooting, and the implementation of proven technologies.
  • Assisting in the creation of Process Design Packages and other project documentation.
  • Supporting the implementation of EH&S and Process Safety standards across manufacturing plants.
  • Using engineering tools for process modeling, equipment sizing, and hazard analysis.
  • Ensuring the successful execution of projects by meeting cost, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Providing ongoing technical support for existing and new manufacturing plants, focusing on process optimization and technology implementation.
  • Developing training materials and documentation for engineering best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in chemical process design and optimization, especially for large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in process engineering tools, process modeling, and hazard analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of Process Safety principles and EH&S regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in both English and Italian (Milan, Rho), German (Rheinmunster) or France (Saint Avoid).
  • Experience with project management processes and ability to teach or mentor others.
