Process Development Engineer

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of process engineering experience gained in an industrial setting (large industrial group strongly preferred)
• Profiles coming from pure academic R&D, technology licensors, or EPC contractors are not the primary fit for this role
• Profiles with R&D experience embedded within a large industrial group, particularly in a technical support-to-operations capacity, are a strong fit
• Strong command of Aspen Plus for process simulation and optimization
• Domain expertise in either of the following is a strong plus: Liquid organic chemicals (alcohols, carboxylic acids) with experience in purification and separation processes, notably distillation columns Syngas handling, treatment including PSA, cryogenic separation, drying. Ore refining/processing (lithium, nickel, bauxite) with experience extracting metal oxides from mined rock Hands-on comfort with experimental and pilot/skid-scale work Strong fluency in English, with the ability to work closely and effectively in a tight-knit technical binôme Good project management skills: planning, coordination, supplier follow-up, and milestone tracking A genuine appetite for moving from a paper-based idea to real, industrial-scale execution
