Process Control Engineer

We are recruiting a Process Control Engineer for a client specialized in optical fiber manufacturing.

We are looking for an experienced Process Control Engineer to join an industrial production environment and contribute to the reliability, performance and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment .

Your role :

Working closely with Production, R&D and other technical teams, you will:

• Improve process reliability, machine robustness and production performance
• Monitor quality and yield, identify deviations and implement corrective actions
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and their monitoring systems
• Coordinate equipment testing and technically support production activities
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects and working groups
• Work closely with R&D on process development and technology transfers
• Coordinate technical activities across different departments
• Support and train Process Control teams
• Contribute to reducing operating costs while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and equipment availability

Your profile :

• Master's / Engineering degree with a specialization in Optics or Process Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in an industrial production environment , ideally operating 24/7
• Knowledge of optical fiber manufacturing processes and fundamentals of optical fiber transmission
• Experience with automated production equipment and process testing
• Good understanding of mechanics and manufacturing technologies
• Experience in project management and cross-functional coordination
• Knowledge of SQL databases and standard office tools
• Electrical certification is a plus
• Strong team spirit, responsiveness and decision-making skills
