Private Equity Investment Associate
About The Role
Permanent, full-time position based in Paris, France, sitting within the Commercial team of a global, impact-focused B-Corp specialising in nature-based solutions (NbS). The role focuses on structuring investments across a range of NbS project types — including carbon, agroforestry, regenerative agriculture, and mangrove restoration — and carries exposure to multiple geographies and large-scale, long-duration projects. The target start date is as soon as possible in 2026.
Working closely with Finance, Technical, and Operations teams, the Investment Associate will translate field-level opportunities into robust, bankable investment cases. Projects typically involve long-term corporate offtake agreements and partnerships with institutional investors, and may incorporate public or blended finance structures where relevant.
The role reports to the Lead Business Development.

- Prepare and deliver investment materials — including pitch decks, investment notes, and portfolio updates — for internal meetings and external investors.
- Contribute to investor engagement through identifying and approaching relevant investors via conferences, networks, and direct outreach.
- Present investment opportunities to investors, both independently and alongside relevant team members.
- Support the due diligence process, coordinating across teams as projects advance.
- Accompany the commercial team through the full investment lifecycle, through to negotiation and closing.

- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with experience in real assets, project finance, or fund monitoring.
- Ability to understand and clearly articulate both the financial and impact dimensions of investments, including carbon, biodiversity, and social impact considerations.
- Comfortable presenting and pitching investment opportunities directly to investors.
- Able to work effectively across multiple geographies and with diverse stakeholders, including project developers and technical specialists.
- Structured, rigorous, and detail-oriented, with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.

- Proactive and autonomous, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a demonstrated ability to source opportunities and engage investors independently.
