Overview

The role focuses on coordinating and managing private cloud infrastructure design initiatives within an enterprise IT environment. The consultant will oversee multiple parallel projects, ensuring alignment with technical and governance standards, while driving execution across virtualization and on-premise cloud initiatives. The position requires strong project management expertise and the ability to synthesize complex infrastructure topics into actionable insights. The objective is to support the evolution and optimization of internal cloud infrastructure capabilities while ensuring delivery within defined timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate multiple infrastructure-related projects simultaneously in a complex IT environment
• Prepare and present consolidated status updates, including risks, issues, and progress across initiatives
• Define and enforce governance frameworks, reporting structures, and project tracking mechanisms
• Monitor project budgets, including tracking of operational and investment expenditures
• Organize and support operational and decision‑making meetings, including preparation of documentation and reporting
• Drive planning activities, including roadmap definition, implementation timelines, and execution tracking
• Perform risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for infrastructure projects
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including cloud, network, and infrastructure domains

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in IT Project Management / PMO (enterprise infrastructure context)
• Proven expertise in private cloud and on‑premise infrastructure design
• Hands‑on experience with VMware ESXi environments
• Knowledge of Datacenter Infrastructure Management tools (e.g., Nlyte or equivalent)
• Experience managing multiple concurrent infrastructure projects
• Strong governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills
• Budget tracking and financial monitoring experience in IT projects
• Risk management and mitigation planning expertise

• Ability to synthesize complex technical topics into structured reporting and executive summaries
• Strong coordination skills across multiple technical teams and stakeholders
• Experience in infrastructure transformation or optimization initiatives
