Real-World Evidence France (RWE) is a business unit within IQVIA France that generates real-world data. The team of more than 100 experts delivers integrated solutions and insights that reflect the French healthcare system’s complexities.

RWS France supports customers in creating evidence efficiently and cost‑effectively, crafting compelling value stories for internal and external stakeholders.

We are hiring a Principal (F/H) to lead business development and implement data‑driven solutions with clients.

Position located at IQVIA France headquarters in Courbevoie (FR, 92).

Responsibilities

As Principal, you will develop business and deliver innovative data‑driven solutions with clients, ensuring alignment with the French headquarters and affiliates of pharma, biotech, and medtech companies, as well as regulatory and HTA bodies (ANSM, HAS, ARS, CNAM, CNIL…). You will develop integrated solutions that meet payer evidence requirements by combining IQVIA’s primary and secondary data offerings.

Strategy setting and market building

• Implement solutions for real‑world data collection aligned with the French business vision and objectives.
• Identify new growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain external stakeholder relationships to promote IQVIA France’s market positioning and data access.
• Contribute to IQVIA France thought leadership.

Client leadership and project delivery

• Consult with customers to understand their needs, develop high‑quality proposals, and lead project delivery.
• Engage senior leaders at key accounts to drive growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional IQVIA France teams to ensure all capabilities reach customers.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, Data Science, or related field (MBA, MD, or PhD highly desirable).
• At least 8 years of business development and project delivery experience in Real‑World Evidence generation (observational studies, early access programmes, enriched studies, SNDS/PMSI studies), acquired in consulting, pharma, or research environments.
• Strong understanding of French regulatory processes for primary and secondary real‑world data collection.
• Leadership experience managing senior clients and internal project delivery teams with high quality and standards.
• Track record of driving French HQ/affiliate deals and offering development.
• Established network of contacts within pharmaceutical industry, academia, and HTA bodies.
• Ability to translate ambiguous concepts into stakeholder‑aligned decisions.
• Experience in complex organizations, aligning non‑reporting teams; track record of thought leadership, publications and public speaking is a plus.
• Knowledge of prospective research methods (clinical trials, observational research) and retrospective methods (healthcare database analyses).
• Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint; ability to develop clear storylines and proposals.
• Knowledge of consulting methods, tools, techniques.
• Commercial awareness of the healthcare, health‑technology and pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluency in French and English, verbal and written.
