Principal Back Office Business Consultant, Sophis / Fusion Invest

Overview

The Principal Back Office Business Consultant will lead the implementation of Teciem’s Fusion Invest and Sophis solutions for customers. As the functional product expert within the Fusion Invest Professional Services team, the consultant will also mentor more junior consultants and collaborate closely with sales, global solutions consulting, and product organizations.

Responsibilities

• Successfully deliver Fusion Invest/Sophis implementation projects and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Analyze customer’s current business processes and scenarios.
• Specify, present and configure business processes and best practices for customers during implementations.
• Assist project and delivery management in planning all aspects of projects, updating project status and risks, and performing technical and functional reviews.
• Communicate with customers to define detailed requirements for implementation.
• Provide advice for customizing or implementing new functions in the solution.
• Provide onsite consultancy services, with potentially extensive travelling required.
• Pro‑actively keep up‑to‑date with the product roadmap, upgrades and industry trends, and communicate knowledge within the team.
• Work with sales and global solution consultants to develop new service opportunities from existing customers.
• Provide input into the development of standards, tools, processes, documentation and templates to standardize and improve the execution of implementation tasks and aid training of new consultants.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the financial software industry, with a specific focus on capital markets software for back office.
• Subject matter expert on finance/accounting/back‑office topics.
• Buy‑side experience is a strong plus.
• Professional services experience with a financial software vendor is a strong plus.
• Practical experience implementing software solutions for the financial industry; Fusion Invest/Sophis knowledge is a strong plus.
• Outstanding relationship management and communication skills.
• Highly customer focused approach.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Risk Management, Corporate Finance, MIS or related fields, or equivalent work experience. Certified accountant not mandatory but a plus.
