Principal Analog IC Design Engineer

Overview

I am recruiting for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer on behalf of a well‑established semiconductor company based in the Provence region in France. The role focuses on shaping future product concepts and providing technical leadership in automotive applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced analog design work for automotive power and driver ICs.
• Contribute to concept definition and system‑level architecture.
• Review block‑level design and support key technical decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
• Work with verification, test and applications teams to support the full design flow.
• Contribute to long‑term product ideas and innovation topics.
• Support integration as the team expands into new office facilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in analog design for automotive power or driver ICs.
• Experience working at block‑level and concept‑level.
• Ability to mentor and support other designers.
• Sound technical judgement and clear communication skills.
• Experience in highly integrated automotive IC environments is an advantage.
