Principal Analog Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Within a project team, design analog or mixed‑signal blocks for battery management circuits from architecture to qualification.
• Partner with Design Architects and propose optimal architecture in terms of area, power consumption and performance.
• Translate specifications into electrical schematics.
• Create and complete verification plan of the circuit (PVT, statistical, ESD/EMC & post layout simulations).
• Validate circuit routing at layout stage.
• Participate in product debug & validation at lab and support qualification up to product release.
• Work collaboratively with Design group and other technical groups within NXP.
• Develop competencies in a strong technical environment, with opportunities for technical or project responsibilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of analog IC design experience.
• Proven experience with IC in ADC design, switch‑capacitor design, high‑voltage power‑management blocks, accurate voltage references, physical layer (CAN interface), high‑side and low‑side drivers.
• Experience in smart power BiCMOS technologies.
• Good knowledge of Cadence IC tools.
• Experience in requirement traceability management and ISO26262.
