Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen Malt’s visibility in the French media landscape by managing relationships with journalists and PR agencies, producing high‑impact press content, and embedding Malt within key institutional ecosystems.
  • Define and execute the quarterly and annual press strategy aligned with product, data, and corporate milestones.
  • Manage and grow a network of key French journalists across economic, business, tech, HR, and mainstream press, positioning Malt as a voice on future of work and AI.
  • Write and coordinate high‑impact press materials (press releases, op‑eds, pitches, tribunes) leveraging existing data and narratives.
  • Brief and coach C‑level spokespersons ahead of interviews, events, and public positions.
  • Represent Malt within France Digitale, French Tech, and other relevant bodies to strengthen reputation and influence.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in a PR agency or equivalent in‑house role.
  • Strong command of news cycles, editorial formats, and press content strategy.
  • Established contacts across French media (business, tech, mainstream, HR press) and ability to activate and nurture these relationships.
  • Ability to transform complex data or technical topics into compelling press content.
  • Knowledge of French Tech / France Digitale ecosystems.
  • Experience briefing, managing, and evaluating an external PR agency aligned with internal objectives.
  • Experience in spokesperson coaching, including writing briefs, talking points, and training materials for C‑level executives.
  • Minimum 7 years of active journalist network required.

Interview Process

  • First call with Talent Acquisition Manager to discuss background and aspirations.
  • Interview with future manager to delve into experience and role details.
  • Home assignment to evaluate technical skills.
  • Final interview with CMO to discuss long‑term vision.
