Presales Sr, Solutions Architect

Factor Search is partnering with a leading Earth observation and geospatial data company to identify a PreSales Senior Solutions Architect to support its Defense and Intelligence business across Western and Northern Europe.

This is a strategic, customer-facing role for a technical leader who can operate credibly with senior government and defense stakeholders, someone who bridges deep geospatial expertise with the ability to architect and communicate solutions that meet real operational needs.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead technical presentations and product demonstrations for defense and intelligence customers
• Serve as a trusted solutions architect, translating mission requirements into technical architecture
• Contribute to RFP/RFI responses and tender submissions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to represent customer needs
• Engage directly with executive-level government stakeholders

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience supporting the Defense community within Europe
• Fluency in French, with professional proficiency in English
• Hands-on experience with GIS and remote sensing platforms (QGIS, ArcGIS, SocetGXP, GDAL)
• Background in IMINT, ISR, or related disciplines
• Proficiency in Python for imagery processing, vector data manipulation, and API/pipeline development
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%

Location: France, remote-first with office presence expected 3 days/week for candidates near a hub
