Pre-Sales Engineer, HVAC

Responsibilities

• Maintain active monitoring of public and private tenders, including via BOAMP and local tender portals.
• Represent ARKEON Energy with contracting authorities, project managers, and engineering consultancies.
• Attend trade shows and professional events.
• Analyze customer needs, specifications, and tender documents.
• Prepare or coordinate cost estimates for HVAC projects.
• Draft technical proposals and compile responses to calls for tender.
• Propose alternatives and technical optimizations to improve the competitiveness of bids.
• Manage negotiations through to contract signing.

Requirements

• Higher education diploma (2- to 5-year level) in HVAC engineering, thermal engineering, business, or an engineering school.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in the HVAC, building services, or technical building engineering sector.
• Proven experience responding to public and/or private tenders.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, detailed technical specifications (CCTP), and technical documentation.
• Proficient in costing tools and preparing commercial proposals/price offers.
• Comfortable with CRM systems and office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Personal qualities: strong interpersonal and client-relationship skills, autonomy, organizational skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
