PR Manager – FR

Paris (with 2 days per week home working available).

SharkNinja is the maker of class-leading Shark home and beauty products, and the innovative line of Ninja kitchen appliances. Our mission is to delight customers with innovative products and positively impact lives in homes across the globe. Based from our office in Paris, we are seeking a Public Relations Manager to manage our media relations programme across France. You will be a team player and a natural creative with a proven track record for developing and executing successful campaigns, increasing brand awareness, and delivering impactful communication across varied customer touch points.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the strategic direction, development and execution of earned media activation across France.
• Develop, drive and coordinate the strategy and execution of SharkNinja’s corporate brand activity across France.
• Manage external agency partners for France, including briefing agencies timely and ensuring campaigns deliver against business goals.
• Manage and oversee the PR budget allocation across France, ensuring effective use and ROI.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and wider SharkNinja teams to create impactful 360 campaigns.
• Provide strategic PR counsel to the wider SharkNinja business and senior leadership team.
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure synergy in activity.
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts. Manage media inquiries and high-level interview requests.
• Create content for press releases, bylines and keynote presentations.
• Manage crisis situations and communications to ensure best practice.
• Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results; develop reports for executive team and stakeholders.
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an ongoing basis. Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness.
• Maintain understanding of industry trends and make recommendations regarding communication strategy.

Requirements

• Proven working experience in public relations.
• Proven track record designing and executing successful PR campaigns at local and national level.
• Experience working in France; fluency in French.
• Experience managing agencies (or coming from agency side at a senior level).
• Experience acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable with broadcast and print media interviews.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Solid experience with social media (blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Event planning experience; creative thinker; self-starter who can hit the ground running.
• Agile approach to a fast-changing environment.
